Does Ohio require a front license plate?

Beginning July 1, vehicles in Ohio no longer need to display a front license plate. Law enforcement is unhappy with the decision because it makes it more difficult to identify oncoming vehicles. Ohio joins 19 other states that don’t require front plates. Jul 2, 2020
